Alumni Network Committee
The Impact Lab Alumni Network Committee (The Alumni Commitee) connects the Impact Lab community to share guidance, knowledge and experience, shape the future of the Impact Lab course, and social impact. Members of the Impact Lab Alumni Network Committee have the opportunity to make a difference in the community and gain valuable leadership experience.
TERM AND MANDATE
Impact Lab Alumni Network Committee Members are selected through a nomination process bi-annually and the positions are voluntary. Each Alumni Committee Member is expected to dedicate approximately 8 hours of voluntary work a month for the benefit of the Impact Lab community. Alumni Committee Members can be selected for 2 consecutive terms.
2024-2025 impact lab alumni network COMMITTEE

Kyra first joined the Impact Lab ecosystem as an intern for EmpowerU, where she created digital learning materials through video editing. Her passion for theatre and film, complemented by her studies in Politics and Journalism, have led her to explore storytelling in various forms. Now, in her new position working on the Impact Lab-inspired online course “Starting an Impactful Business”, she is documenting the stories of social impact changemakers. She is excited to craft meaningful educational content that inspires people to take action in their own communities.
Chair

Yoyo’s fondest memory from Impact Lab was her internship at Gowld Art Centre, where she lent a hand during their vibrant Drinks and Draw event. She was touched by the mentors' guidance and the welcoming atmosphere, which made her time at GAC and Impact Lab truly rewarding.
Secretary

Jolyn interned at GREEN Hospitality during her Impact Lab days. She is an impact-driven creative with experience in entrepreneurship, design, and technology. Her time at the University of Hong Kong's Impact Lab course inspired her relocation to London to pursue her passion for driving social change through creative innovation.
Entrepreneurship Support

As a business development intern at Carbonbase, Sabrina was entrusted with key logistics for a high-profile TEDx talk amidst the challenges of COVID-19. From there, Sabrina carried her passion for sustainability to Foodpanda, where she continues working diligently to reduce waste and carbon emissions. Her foundations were built at Impact Lab.
Career & Mentoring Coordinator

Veronica's journey at Impact Lab ignited her passion for advocating for migrant worker rights, which she explored at Migrasia. This experience led her to intern at the Fair Employment Agency, where she supported marketing initiatives and managed social media to help connect Hong Kong residents with migrant workers without placement fees. Her commitment to driving awareness and positive change reflects the core values of the Impact Lab.

The Impact Lab Mentoring Program is a flagship program of the Impact Lab Alumni Network Committee (The Alumni Committe). It aims to connect Impact Lab alumni and professionals with students and recent graduates to provide career guidance, share knowledge and experience, and shape the future of the Impact Lab community.The Impact Lab Mentoring Program is a valuable opportunity that allows Impact Lab Alumni to hone their leadership and communication skills, build their network, and learn about other organisations and industries through their mentees.
